How to File a Grievance

The Democratic Socialists of America is committed to creating a space that is welcoming and inclusive to members of all genders, races, and classes. Tampa DSA has guidelines to ensure that everyone is able to organize without fear of harassment, abuse, or harm.

Tampa DSA has 2 Harassment Grievance Officers (HGOs) chosen each year to facilitate any grievance process and ensure that any issues that arise are handled in accordance with these policies and with the utmost respect and confidentiality for all parties involved.

DSA policies prohibit retaliation against any member for bringing a complaint of harassment. They also prohibit retaliation against a person who assists someone with a complaint of harassment, or participates in any manner in an investigation or resolution of a complaint of discrimination or harassment.
